This is how this will work.....make as many comments as you want about New Year's and resolutions...as soon as this post reaches 500 comments I will close it and start the process of picking a winner.   50. I remember when my uncle was drinking on New Year's Day and announced how he's stop drinking alcohol. Next month he joined AA and got drunk with his friend who was in the AA group. Sad.

  71. I think everyone should make a resolution to help others, there are so many things that have happened this past year to make me think this. Whether you choose to spend time helping out at your local library, mentoring a child, or building a house, there are many nonprofit volunteer organizations that could really use help. Or if your time is really in short supply, maybe you can at least find it in you to donate the furniture, clothing and other household items that you no longer need to someone in need...just a thought

  82. One of my New Years resolutions is to not be a little more laid back when it comes to cleaning my house. Whenever I have a free minute, that's what I'm doing:( It seems like I follow behind my kids all day, just so I can have a clean house. But I have more important things to do with my time!

  132. My resolution is to stay a non smoker, even after the baby is born! I have struggled with this for years.. the longest I quit was for four years and started again:( But now that I'm pregnant, I am a non smoker, and I hope to stay that way.. not only for 2013, but for the rest of my life!
